An image I rendered in Photorealizer. |
Hi, I'm Peter Kutz, and this is a new blog for my physically-based renderer Photorealizer. I started programming this renderer from scratch two summers ago, and I'm still working on it. It is primarily an unbiased Monte Carlo path tracer. Two of my main goals from the beginning have been achieving photorealistic renders, and learning about everything that goes into that. Here, I plan on posting occasional progress updates, new insights, interesting renders, and tips for simulating light as realistically as possible. I hope you will find some of this interesting or useful, and please feel free to provide feedback or ask questions. Thanks for visiting.
